Hourly consulting: Rates typically vary from $100 to $200 an hour depending on the complexity of the project. Retainer-based consulting: I negotiate lower consulting rates in exchange for monthly, quarterly, or annual contracts.Award-winning writing: Clients can choose hourly rates as noted above, or a per-word rate that is usually between $1.25 and $1.75 and guarantees satisfaction with a final version that includes:
- interviews and research;
- delivery of a first draft;
- one round of major revisions; and,
- one round of final revisions.
Award-winning editing: Clients can choose hourly rates or a per-word charge based on the number of words in the original version of the document.
Proofreading: A per-word charge based on the number of words in the original version of the document.
Barter: I will equitably trade my services for other goods or services.
Discounts: I will discount my work on behalf of worthy causes.
Referrals: I maintain a network of communications professionals across the country, with specialties in training and development, business process improvement, video production, speech writing, legislative and regulatory lobbying, marketing, advertising and ad buying, direct mail, and Internet services. I make referrals to this network without charge, and can conduct a customized search for the most appropriate resource at a minimal charge.
